PDFMason is a PDF editor for Mac, iPad and iPhone. It reads, edits, signs, redacts, scans and searches PDFs, and it does all of it on your device.
Getting help
Email shafqat.ullah@gmail.com. Tell me which device and which version you are running — the version is in Settings ▸ About inside the app, and it includes the exact build, which makes a problem much faster to place.
Answers to the usual questions
- Where did my document go? PDFMason saves into the file you opened, wherever you keep it — iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or any other Files location. It keeps no library of its own, so nothing is hidden inside the app.
- Hide versus Remove Permanently. Hiding draws a cover over something and can be undone; the text is still in the file. Remove Permanently rewrites the page so the content is gone. The app says which is which at the moment you choose.
- Does anything I do get uploaded? No. Summarising, asking questions, translating, OCR and Read Aloud all run on the device. See the privacy policy.
- I bought Pro and it is still locked. Open the paywall and choose Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. One purchase covers Mac, iPad and iPhone.
- Scanning finds no scanner. Scan from Scanner looks for an AirScan/eSCL scanner on the same network, and asks for local-network permission to do it. A scanner that is off, asleep, or on another network will not appear.
Privacy
